Breezy Smart Controller app 3.1.3-44

Simpler, Clearer Fogging Controls Coming to Breezy Smart Controllers

We are updating the Breezy Smart Controller app to make fogging controls simpler, more intuitive, and easier to use. The update introduces two interface improvements without changing existing treatment configurations.

1. Simplified Fogging Buttons

Preconfigured fogging buttons will now display just two pieces of information:

  • Treatment name: Customizable to match your facility's applications and workflows.
  • Total treatment time: Clearly displayed beneath each button name.

Users can still press and hold a button to view its detailed settings.

2. More Intuitive Dosage Settings

We are replacing numerical log-reduction labels with simpler dosage descriptions: Standard and Deep, with an intermediate setting between them.

Previously, dosage settings were identified by target microbial log reductions. However, actual treatment performance depends on several factors, including room geometry, airflow, and other environmental conditions.

Breezy Trace™ provides measurement data that, together with our pathogen-specific biological indicator testing, allows users to measure delivered dosage and optimize treatment configurations.

The new terminology more accurately describes the dosage selections without implying a guaranteed level of microbial reduction.

Automatic Update — November 9

This update (app version 3.1.3-44) will deploy automatically in the background to Gen2 Breezy Smart Controllers beginning Monday, November 9, 2026. Gen1 Smart Controllers will not be affected by this update.

No action is required. All existing customized fogging buttons and treatment configurations will be preserved. Only the interface and terminology are changing.

Our goal is to make Breezy easier to operate while continuing to improve the measurement and understanding of treatment performance.
