Aug 2025 Software Update: Location & Asset Tracking Now in Breezy Cloud

We’re excited to announce the latest software updates for Breezy Cloud™ and the Breezy Smart Controller app. With this release, infection prevention (IP) and environmental services (EVS) teams gain powerful new tools to track where disinfection takes place and what assets have been disinfected — all seamlessly integrated into your existing Breezy workflows.

What’s New

• Breezy Spot™ – Location Tracking
  Breezy Cloud now records the exact location where Breezy Blue™ is used. This makes it easy to verify that high-risk spaces — such as ORs, PACUs, patient rooms, or restrooms — are regularly disinfected and compliant with your protocols.

• Breezy Tag™ – Asset Tracking
  When Breezy Blue is used for equipment or asset disinfection (wheelchairs, IV stands, pumps, etc.), Breezy Cloud now tracks which assets have been disinfected and when. This ensures critical items are safe for the next patient, closing the loop on infection prevention.

• Improved Smart Controller Experience
  The Breezy Smart Controller app supports adding Breezy Tags at your site and communicates both location and assets nearby directly from the Breezy Blue control screen.

• New Notifications & Profile Settings
  Low-battery notifications are available for both Breezy Spot and Breezy Tag devices. Notification preferences can be easily managed from the new gear icon at the top of every page.

• Automatic Log Uploads
  The app now automatically retries cached log uploads from fog events if no cellular connection was available, eliminating the need to reconnect to the Breezy Blue.
